This auction is for one spiral-bound paperback press kit for the movie “Running With Scissors” (2006), which is the film adaptation of the personal memoir by writer Augusten Burroughs.
The film starred Annette Bening, Brian Cox, Joseph Fiennes, Evan Rachel Wood, Alec Baldwin, Jill Clayburgh and Joseph Cross. The story is about Burroughs’ unusual childhood growing up with the family of his mother’s doctor and the doctor’s unusual family. Haunting, weird and emotional; the book is excellent, too.
The book measures 9 inches tall, about 6.25 inches wide and a little less than .25 of an inch thick. It has a card stock cover and cardboard for the back of the book. Inside the back cover is a small plastic disk that is attached to the back inside cover, and attached to this disk is a data CD or DVD that contains color still photos from the film.
About 46 pages, all on thick paper. The book contains extensive biographies of the actors and actresses in the film, as well as a crew list and bios of the filmmakers, too. There are some pictures in the book of the actors and actresses.
Overall, this press kit is is good condition. At the top middle of the cover are two small indents / marks in the paper (see photo for details). The data CD or DVD looks like it has some light wear mark on it.
