The CRISTAL food safety risk management program was specifically developed for the travel and tourism industry. It covers high-level standards, which comply with international and national regulations. Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort offers three extraordinary swimming pools,a Jacuzzi and swim-up poolside bars where you can have a drink or a meal without ever leaving the water.
If you do leave the pools, though, you won't have to go very far to get wet again. The exquisite seaside location affords guests total access to Las Glorias beach, where the resort provides sea kayaks, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and fully-certified PADI dive instruction and excursions. A tennis court is onsite and there's nightly entertainment which includes a musical theme show.

Accommodations
The traditional Mexican-style seaside resort features studios, one- and two-bedroom units with private balconies that overlook the pool patio, the garden or the ocean however, location cannot be guranteed. All rooms at Plaza Pelicanos have air-conditioning, in-room safe, and cable or satellite TV.
Studios and 1 bedroom units have either a king bed or two double beds. The 2 bedroom has a king bed, two double beds and two sofa beds in the living area.
There are two swimming pools, a tennis court and plenty of onsite activities.

Area Travel Guide
Ten minutes south of Plaza Pelicanos is the center of town. Viejo Vallarta, or Old Town, is reminiscent of a marvelous fishing village – cobblestone streets stretch throughout the city, and whitewashed houses with tiled rooftops speak to motifs of Old Mexico. Many homes here have been converted to shops, galleries and restaurants. Isla Rio Cuale, a narrow island of Vallarta real estate accessible by bridge, features a cultural center, a museum, and more restaurants and shops.
Las Glorias Beach

One of the cleanest and least-crowded beaches in the town of Puerto Vallarta. Also enjoy hiking or running the 3-mile stretch of beach, known as the malecon, which includes Playas Camarones, Las Glorias, Los Tules and de Oro. The malecon also enjoys the best sunsets in town.
