These were sent to media outlets for promotional purposes, to be used by writers doing reviews or features about the films, and were not sold at retail stores.  Press kits do NOT include the movie itself.

This is the Press Kit for the 2008 action movie "Hellboy" starring Ron Perlman, Doug Jones, Jeffrey Tambor, John Hurt and Selma Blair and directed by Guillermo Del Toro, based on Mike Mignola's  Dark Horse Comics story about a demon raised, after being conjured by and rescued from the Nazis, to become a defender against the forces of darkness. This press kit contains a 50-page production notes booklet, which have some underlining throughout in pen. (See photos.) This auction also includes a disc with the 2.29 Trailer #2R.
As for flaws, as previously mentioned, there is some underlining in pen throughout the production notes. There is the slight crumple at the top of the folder on the front, though no tears anywhere. There is also an impression or bend on the cover page of the production notes (see photo).
This is truly a well-cared-for press kit for Hellboy fans.
