Fruit Fly Culture - Flies Only

Description

This ad is for one (1) culture of your choice of flies, Melanogaster, Hydei or Golden Hydei. It does not come with anything else. This will be a fresh culture and as such, it is not producing yet. I try and ship out week old cultures so the production time you need to wait is less and some eggs have been laid.
For best results, store flies in constant temps between 70 and 75 degrees. Larvae will begin showing up in about 10 days and flies in about 20 days.
Colder temps will slow down the reproduction speed of the flies.
Constant temps hotter than 80 degrees will cause the flies to mutate into flying demons that will get you into trouble with your significant other if they escape. Trust me, I know from experience!
When comparing with other sellers, please factor in whatever shipping they ask for in the total price. My shipping is free priority mail shipping.
I ship Monday to Thursday as it's usually 2-3 day delivery and the flies shouldnt sit around over a weekend in a box.
**Please Note: The flies are LIVE insects and as such, they are subjected to probably less that ideal conditions during shipping. If you have die-off, please contact me immediately so we can work something out.
The flies may be dead but the larvae in the eggs will still be viable and will produce. Prompt Communication with me is the key as I want you to be happy with your purchase. I am a hobbyist like you and not a profit making business.

*** I have shipped out over 100 of these kits and have only had 2 situations where the flies were DOA, one was heat during transit and one was left outside over a weekend. These flies come from Southern California so keep in mind the distance they need to travel ***
