As you approach the airport at Kahului you see the grandeur of Haleakala Volcano, knowing that in a couple of days your clan will be up on the top watching a sunrise that only a few will ever experience and shortly thereafter riding bicycles downhill that you've already reserved. Stepping off the plane the warm trade winds combine with the scent of the translucent ocean nearby and you can?t wait to get to the beach and jump in the ocean you?d never imagined could be so beautiful!
As you drive to the condo, taking you through the sugarcane fields of the Valley Isle, you tune in the radio to find Hawaiian music that greeted you when you first stepped on the plane back home. Everyone wants to go straight to the beach, but you tell them all to wait until we get to the Westin condo. As you head up the west side of Maui you first see Kahoolawe, then Lanai and then

. WOW! You never imagined how beautiful this place could be!
You pull up to the Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas and you are in awe! You walk through the lobby doors and see the pool, water slide, lush grounds, BBQ?s, lounge chairs on the beach and the blue Pacific straight ahead. The little ones spot the Keiki (Kids) Kamp down a hall with games, toys, movies and the licensed staff playing with kids whose parents are off doing their own thing. The older kids wander off towards the pool restaurant and are already talking to the Scuba instructor who provides free lessons if there is a class they can start with tomorrow!
In the room EVERYONE goes WOW!!! What a view! What a cool place! The refrigerator is already stocked with all the items you requested so you could immediately get into vacation mode. Your wife checks to see what she can prepare for dinner and you tell her to back-off. To celebrate your long awaited dream vacation, for a special treat tonight, you'll be having one of the Westin Chefs prepare the family meal in your Villa that will be served on your ocean view balcony, giving mom a break.
In this secure private resort you're absolutely comfortable when the teens advise you they'll be going to scope out the game room, tennis courts and pool on the way to meeting you and the young ones down at the beach. They can barely restrain their excitement when they report their findings to you already in your private lounge chair for two with appetizers and Mai Tai's in hand.
